Pan Arcadia is a hard name to miss in New York’s downtown music circuit. Childhood friends from the boroughs, the 5-piece have a propensity for giving high-energy live shows and throwing parties at abandoned churches, parks and their home studio ‘The Shack.’ With multiple sold-out shows at the Bowery Ballroom, Baby’s All Right and Mercury Lounge, as well as a spotlight on Spin Magazine’s Podcast, the group has earned its hometown cred.
While paying homage to NYC guitar bands like The Ramones and The Strokes, Pan builds on these influences by incorporating elements of boom-bap, bossa-nova, synth-pop, pop-punk.
On July 4th the band will release ‘Limousines’, the first single of their next LP due in October.
